Welcome to ZoomTilt!

Every year, brands spend hundreds of billions of dollars on advertising, including tens of billions on both internet and television advertising.  Creative agencies charge high sums, only affordable to the biggest brands, to create “branded entertainment” — short films or web series that speak to the brands identity and go viral because of their creativity and cinematography.  And then through expensive marketing campaigns, those videos are seen by millions.

For decades, independent filmmaking has been on the rise.  Every year, thousands of independent filmmakers make stunning short videos — for competitions, for festivals, or just for themselves.  They work within certain parameters and often a short deadline to film incredibly creative, potentially viral content.

We are here to explore how independent filmmakers help brands tell their stories and reach new audiences for a fraction of the cost.
